CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Physical Education : These classes are held twice a week from Nursery onwards. Quality physical education programs help all students develop health-related fitness, physical competence, cognitive understanding, and positive attitudes about physical activity, so that they can adopt healthy and physically active lifestyles.

Dance : Dance classes are held once a week from Nursery onwards. In addition to being a physical activity, dancing is also a highly social activity. Dance lessons can help children improve their social skills and enable them to communicate better, learn teamwork, develop a greater sense of trust and cooperation and make new friends. Through dance, children not only learn the benefits of exercising, but they also learn coordination, balance, flexibility, stamina, stability, memory and discipline.

Music : Music Classes are held twice a week from Nursery onwards. It includes both Indian and Western vocal music. In the morning the entire campus echoes with lilting instrumental music to welcome the students which creates a child friendly positive ambience. Music affects the growth of a child’s brain academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Yoga: Yoga helps to develop physical, mental and spiritual wellness of a student. These classes are held once a week from Class III upwards. Yoga enables the students to focus and increase their span of concentration.

Karate : Karate training is offered to students from Class III upwards once a week. Karate is a great way to develop well-balanced mind and body, to teach Self-Defense, to builds Confidence, to hone Leadership Skills, to encourage Self-Discipline. Kalaripayattu is also included in the Karate Classes.
